I'm not sure, I got it at the local swamp meet las weekend and it came in a clear plastic case. Other than that I don't know sorry

why did you take it out of case that was a protector be careful at swamp meets i bought a few from a swamp meet and took them to be appraised and they were fake morgan libertys are one of the most counterfiets out there but it is a nice piece just looks like its been polished F&W

I kind of have to agree with the first person who commented about the coin being cleaned as far as we can tell from the photographs it looks clean but if this person has any experience at all he would know that you really need to see it in person because of lighting is a huge factor in determining cleaning or not. Also for your information sir the Chinese are very crafty and have figured out many different alloy compositions to the point where weighing a Morgan dollar doesn't work anymore.... It used to be a way to guarantee a coin is real nowadays the full proof method is to get a small rare earth magnet and slide it down the coin at a 45 degree angle....it MUST be a rare earth magnet.... Any household or normal type magnet is nowhere strong enough to do the job and after many years of collecting and experience with coins you will be able to tell just by the sound that it makes. Now from your photos I can tell just by looking at it that it is not a fake you can just tell after years of experience the look of a Chinese fake Morgan . Either way it has a stunning amount of detail and is a beautiful corner I wish you the best of luck have a great day God bless you and your family
