I have a Dell external DVD Drive Model # PD01S
It has the double plug connector on it, so if you don't have the mate end you'll need to pick one up.
Ive never used it, got it from a friend and it worked when he had it.

It says on the front. Compact disc high speed rewritable, RW DVD+Rewritable, and DVD R/RW. Hope that answers your question.

Does it has a USB plug what type of plug is it that, that connects to the computer?

Its a double USB type plug. If you dont have that type of connection you would have to pick up an adapter.
