'The years of depression continued in 1935 with unemployment still running at 20.1% , and the war clouds were gathering as Germany began to rearm and passed the Nuremburg laws to strip Jews of their civil rights. The Gallup Poll was introduced and a reformed drinker named Bill Wilson formed Alcoholics Anonymous on 10th June , also for the first time a completely synthetic fibre was produced called nylon by a Dupont chemist. Persia is renamed to Iran.'

1935 was a year of firsts and a pivotal year in the development of WWII. Watching. I like old wheat backs.

I just sold some WWII relics today and I must say the pre-sale historical research I did was absolutely fascinating.

Cool, interesting history info! Thanx! FYI, I have more wheat backs coming. This is only my second auction and my first auctioning off a coin so I'm still learning what to offer, how long to make the auction, etc. (And yet I already busted my camera! lol) Any suggestions or requests are more than welcome. I HOPE to get my camera fixed or replaced over the weekend so next week I can post more auctions WITH pics . Thanx for stopping by and commenting. :)
