The listing, 2 Pnds. of Wine Corks has ended.
Here are two pounds of used wine corks, 10+ years old. The picture above is just a representation. There are no champagne corks and nearly all these corks have beautiful logos and illustrations on them--ships, ducks, trees, Indian Chiefs, family crests and the like. And if you're a Californian, or like California wines--these will have special meaning for you.
I was talking to myself over this one. Put it up for bid? Keep it and make another cork board? Part of my hesitation is knowing that "cork " corks will soon be a thing of the past, as many wineries have all ready changed to plastic corks (because they don't deteriorate or shrink from the lip). Am I the only one who thinks this is terrible? I think not! Save a part of history.
The second picture shows you a bulletin board that you can make with corks. You've seen these before, I'm sure. Another project is glueing them to the inside of a wooden tray. Your glasses won't slip and are protected by the cork. You can also hang the tray on a wall for decoration. These corks would be especially good for that. Perhaps you can think of another project.
P.S. I can count the corks, if you'd like. Just ask. Thanks for bidding!
