Questions & Comments
Wow!!! This are simple gorgeous!!! Totally watch... Sorry, I an unable to fan because I am at my limit... ;)
I absolutely love almost anything and everything Intaglio. Absolutely beautiful. I am constantly at your auctions. You have some fabulous auctions that are real eye catchers. You really rock Lora.
Don't I know it. You take credit for everything too. I am looking hard at these, because this is something I super love and am very familiar with the technique. I have seen it done in gemstones before. Just breathtaking the way they hang down just right to bring glow to your eyes. Reverse Intaglio is just amazing and they hold up forever. They do not wear down from rubbing like cameos can. These would go so well with my other cameos. Here is hoping. My credits are a bit low right now. May have to get help from my husband.
Hi Elaine, I've collected cameo's for so many years I literally bought every one I could afford. lol Anyway, when I bought these they had 2 sizes, so I had to buy both sizes!! I think this is the larger. I thought I would list the other pair next week.I have some really expensive ones, and some not so. They seem to have depreciated just like everything else. But it seems like there are a lot of other cameo lovers out there. Later. L.
I can't even get in the door and my wife is telling me she has my Listia pulled up. Wants me to bid on this for her Birthday. Okay. I bid and commented. Hope I can eat supper now.
His supper was ready when he walked in. I cannot tell you what it was. I make up food. This was 80% lean ground beef, rice and vermicelli spaghetti broken in tiny pieces and sliced almonds. I put 2 tbs. butter in a frying pan and fried it until it was golden brown. Then I added 3 cups of water and brought it to a boil adding 2 cans of diced tomato and about 5 tbs. of chili powder. As soon as it came to a boil I covered it and put it on low. I chopped a small onion and a large bell pepper and stirred it in with the hamburger. I chopped the hamburger up with a large cooking spoon stirring the bell pepper and onion in between the chopped up bits of hamburger. After 15 minutes I stirred it all together. I made biscuits to go with it I added salsa to mine.
I did drain the hamburger bell pepper and onion before stirring it together with the rice concoction. I have my grown nephew living here too and he ate lots of it. He added a lot of salsa to his. My husband liked it just as is. I added tabasco and salsa to mine. So what did I make for supper? A big mess in the kitchen!
My husband is a lineman and every time a hurricane or other disaster causes power outages he is gone for long periods of time, restoring power. He is a great husband.
You are so lucky. Mine is semi driver. He pulls a 52' trailer. He loads and unloads his trailer. He is going to retire next year. He delivers bakery products (sugar, flour, etc) He use to bring pastries home. I finally threaten him I was going to shove them down his throat. I would weigh 400# if I kept eating that stuff!
He bid whatever he had. He came home and packed. The crews are in a motel waiting. So if he gets outbid on his max bid, I'll ask my sister-in-law to bid. She has a lot of credits, taking surveys everyday. I take one or two a day, so I don't have as many credits. I was saving up until I got 100,000, then I spent a bunch on really nice things. Down to 10,000 now. This is going to be a fun auction anyway. lots of action. Good for you. I'll keep an eye on it anyway.
