For foundation and concealer, they are indispensable. I stumbled upon a YouTube video from itsbl0ndie (who is AMAZING, by-the-way!), where she reviewed a beauty blender dupe that she found by Swissco (the people who make all my fave hair brushes) I was still a bit skeptical when I started watching, because most Beauty Blender dupes are shot down by reviewers. I was surprised, when she raved. I quickly went out and bought not one, but three (one for me and two for my Listia crew :-) They didn’t have one in the original Beauty Blender shape, but I thought these kookie looking babes would work. Despite the fact that they are different shapes, I personally can tell no difference in the texture of mine. They have the same kind of spring to them, the same kind of softness, and they apply all my makeup in the EXACT same way! There’s really nothing more to be said – THIS generic beauty blender is a dead-on dupe for the original, in my opinion!

Don't forget to dampen the sponge before using it – that way it won’t soak up all of your makeup!
