The listing, 1940'S VINTAGE BROACH has ended.

Im sorry i cant tell you any thing about this
the person i got it from said it was from the 40's.
the metal frame looks to be antique brass
and heavy
the black cameo is plastic
as well as the lady
it really needs to be cleaned!!
i dont want to hurt it in any way so i havent cleaned it.

the only marking is a pattend # on the back.

as you can see in the pictures it is rather large.
2 7/8 inch tall
2 inches wide

If you google the patten number it comes back to F.E. Farnham Jan. 5, 1937. That is for the safety clasp. Just FYI. Farnham was a very popular name then. Nice piece!!

The cameo its self comes from naples italy! made by the bay from a shell. the place that started it is nemed "the cameo factory" very nice!
