Aquarium Filter is used but in good working condition. I combined two tanks into one larger tank and am selling off some of the equipment I no longer need as a result. The white is from salt that was added to the tank and is cosmetic in nature. It does not affect how the heater works in any way and is very common in fish tanks. If you wanted to sit there and scrub it with some clr every week you could get it off and keep it off but it the long run it would kill the fish. The new ones I bought a month ago already have some of this on it.

It is meant for a 30/60 gallon tank but it would also work on a smaller tank.

It does not come with any of the disposable cartridges. Those are generally purchased separately at any pet store. I get mine on Amazon as they are cheaper there.
