I bought this about a month ago but since I was given a table top machine I don't need it anymore.

Used once, everything it came with is in the box. Left the new batteries in it.

Perfect for fixing rips or mending clothing!

It does. Just not on thick fabrics. I was trying to sew thick cloth purse straps and the foot doesn't raise up high enough for that. I fixed a shirt with it and it worked great.
