Description

The listing, Pink Sprint/Boost Mobile Sanyo Juno has ended.

Pink with flowers. Very cute.I liked the phone’s design a lot. The color was soft and inviting, as if it told you “Come pick me up, I’m great”. The flowers are fun and flirty.

The phone looked like the morph of Palm’s Centro with the Blackberry’s keys but it felt much lighter.

Sanyo’s SCP-2700 is the ideal phone for a texter. The keys are the best I’ve ever felt. They had the perfect curve, rubber like feel at all times and there are buttons that increase your texting capability. There is a ‘TEXT’ button – thanks for that Sanyo, that’s ideal for the go-getters who don’t like wasting time going through various windows. There is a button with a smiley face, aka the smiley button. That button held the magic behind everyone’s life. It has a bunch of cute emoticons and it’s the first I’ve ever seen of its kind and I thought it was very cute.

The screen is 2.2 inches (diagonally), and it takes great pictures (1.3 MP) but is NOT a touch screen.

Now when I say it’s a texter’s dream I mean it. I mean it because when you receive phone calls, an option you have is ‘Ignore with text’. Now how awesome is that? How often have we received calls while on hold with our credit cards and we can’t pick up, and we feel bad for ignoring, but we can’t hang up so we just wait it out in hopes of whoever called not being mad and understanding the situation. Oh yea – that feature is cool.

The phone is made to work on the SPRINT network, but I used it on Boost. I can activate it on Boost for you, or send you instructions on how to do it. I like Boost because, for $50/month, you can have unlimited EVERYTHING!!! Plus, with their shrinkage plan it goes down $5 every 6 months for a year and a half until you're paying only $35 for their unlimited plan!

Here's the CNET review: http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/sanyo-juno-scp-2700/4505-6454_7-34074235.html

Minor wear. Only used 2 months. Looks almost new.

Sorry for the confusion. As stated in my description, this phone will work on either network. It was MADE to work on Sprint, and it SAYS Sprint on it. Right away with no hassle you can activate it on the Sprint Network.

Sprint also owns Boost and Virgin, though, and they released the same model phone for Boost, so Boost can be "tricked" into activating this phone on their network, which is how I did it. I wanted their amazing unlimited plan.

Using it on Boost didn't change any formatting, though, so it will be instantly useable on Sprint.

I don't, but I can take one for you! I'm not home right now, but I'll try to get it posted before I go to bed tonight. Thanks for asking! I bought it brand new and used it very carefully for 2 months before switching to Virgin Mobile (wanted an Android). The back of the phone is textured, so scratches won't show at all. There is one surface scratch on the screen, but it's shallow, and you can see right through it just fine. Other than the scratch on the screen, I can't see any flaws.

Thanks for asking!

Wow Really Victoria and gg!!? I couldn't help but notice as i read through the comments. Why would anyone go onto someone elses auction and say negative things about whats up for auction! If you don't like it and aren't interested move on! Why would you feel the need to do something like that? Seriously if you had something up for auction would you like it if someone commented on how bad it was!? Bet not.. Just saying.

Hey, thanks for the backup there! I appreciate it! I let her go because at first she claimed she was trying to be helpful, then I just figured she was so rude that no one would pay much attention to her anyway. LOL Phones are like that, though, really. What some people love, others just don't! Such is life!

I love this Cell i have one and won't change it for the best of the best cells in the world i tx and talk with people at the same time i can go online while talking and do anything i want while txin or online and it's all free just like she says you only pay $50 a month for up to 6 months and their after it goes down $5 as long as you are a faithfull ontime customer if you start paying on the 1st of month you have to do it as long as you want the cell phone for or you can gt shut off of course. But it is an awesome cell can't ask for more sprint is part of boost mobile company and this type of cell don't use a chip, also you can't use it with other company's only SPRINT boost moblie that's It.... :-)

I have the same phone and I love it too.Buttons are easy to use, I sometimes get my nails done long and its still easy txting. I wouldnt think it would be a great idea for elderly persons though. Just depends on their dexterity though. I have it through boost (with the shirnkage plan) it can be flashed to cricket but like the other person said you lose pic messages and internet. So probly wouldnt do that since the phone is set up perfectly for those features. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

I forgot to mention that it also can't be unlocked, I tried to get it unlocked but because this was a sprint phone no one would touch it.

It doesn't require the phone to be unlocked, or any sort of modification to activate this phone with Boost.

As stated in the description, if CAN be activated on Boost. I had it on my Unlimited with Shrinkage plan. Don't let the user above scare you. Some people just don't know their way around a cell phone. ;)

"Nice try, but just because you couldn't do it, doesn't mean no one can ;)" What is this supposed to mean? I already have this phone, I don't want it. I was just trying to help because you said you didn't know if it could be activated on metro. So I stated what I knew, my mistake obviously.

No, you stated that it could only be activated on Sprint, which is a total lie. Your mistake, yes. Have a great evening! :)

It can be flashed to use with Cricket. But you can't use picture messaging and possible one other thing. I am sure about that. I would like to see the a picture of the real phone. Why did you use a stock photo? One more thing. Someone said this phone is super easy yo use and was designed for elderly and disabled. I don't beleive it, but is that so?

I got picture messages on Boost. Everything worked fine. I don't know anything about flashing. I used a stock photo because mine was only used 2 months, and looks exactly like it, and when I try to take a picture of it with my camera, the flash reflects off the screen, and all you see is a giant ball of light. As I've repeted over and over, the only defect is a small surface scratch on the screen. I can't imagine that this phone would be good for the elderly or disabled, as it has some of the smallest keys I've seen. I've never heard/read such a thing, but, when in doubt, google it and find out for yourself! There are a million reviews out there! You don't have to take my word for anything!

Please note: I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK WITH CRICKET, BUT THE PERSON ABOVE SAYS IT WILL. Believe at your own risk, or do your own research. Google is your friend.

I DO GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK WITH BOOST AND SPRINT!

Good luck, everyone!

Great comments, guys! Thanks for the info! I've never had a phone flashed, so I really don't know anything about it! Good luck bidding!

I do have another auction for a $10 Radio Shack gift card! The winner of this auction might be interested in that one too, to get a charger, case, or accessories! Just thought I'd pass that along. You guys will also be the first to know that I'm going to add another $5 gift card to THAT auction, so it will be $15!

I didn't like the cell phone.I was use to my Blackberry with Sprint and I thought Boost would turn it on through them and they wouldn't so i bought the Juno because it looks like a blackberry but it doesn't do anything like it.So I returned the Juno and bought the Seek.It has a tap screen.I am still with Boost and will stay with them.Love the plans they have. All unlimited for $50.

To each his own, I suppose! I loved it, and it got great reviews. If you want a Blackberry, you're gonna have to pay for a Blackberry... and an extra $10/month with Boost. NOT cool. I wasn't very impressed with the Blackberry, personally.

It uses a standard charger that you can get at dollar tree for $1, so for the free shipping, I am not including one, but if the winner needs one, I can include one for a small additional shipping fee.

I'm a little confused. Were you disappointed with the phone or Boost? I really liked the phone, AND Boost, but I wanted an Android, and I didn't like the one they offered.

You absolutely CAN activate this phone with Boost. I can show you how. No flashing, no unlocking, just a couple calls ;)
