Description

The listing, 1-2 Year Old Clementine Orange Citrus Tree in Grower's Pot has ended.

Clementine is of a variety of mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata) Also known as the Christmas Orange They are typically juicy and sweet, with less acid than regular Oranges. 1' to 2' Tall (Not Including Root System Height) Upon Receipt,Shipped in a Black Grower's Pot .

A Clementine is of a variety of mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata). The exterior is a deep orange color with a smooth, glossy appearance. Clementine separate easily into seven to fourteen moderately-juicy segments. They are typically juicy and sweet, with less acid than oranges. Clementine are also known as "Christmas Oranges" because they tend to bloom the most in the colder months November- January. Great gift for the holidays.Works great as a patio plant. If you live in a cold climate, just bring it inside during the winter. It produces abundantly indoors or out. Just place it in front of a sunny window and pick fresh fruit throughout the winter. They are very easy to peel, like a tangerine, but are almost always seedless. Clementine are, thus, also known as seedless tangerines.

About Fruit Production: Due to the blossoming cycles of Citrus & Fruit Trees we cannot guarantee that any of our trees will arrive with developed fruit on them. Since our trees are grown from grafts of mature trees, they do produce fruit years sooner than a seeded tree would. Usually our trees will begin to blossom and produce fruit around two to three years old. The older a tree is, the more likely it is to produce fruit.

The actual tree that we ship is shown in the pictures 2 and picture 3. These sell on our website everyday for $79.95 plus $12.95 shipping.

Will start bearing fruit next year

Shipped in its growers pot, NOT BARE ROOTED

It states "will produce fruit next year". About how many edible pieces of fruit do you typically get during the first fruit-yielding year? How much fruit can you expect to get from a mature tree? And how long does it take for the tree to mature to full production level? Only asking all these questions because we mow through "Cuties" at an astonishing rate in my house. Between four kids who love them, and myself who must have a half gallon of orange or tangerine juice everyday, perhaps a tree wouldnt be a bad idea. Lastly, how well do they grow in Oregon?

Why can't you ship to Texas?
Jul 6th, 2014 at 3:40:01 PM PDT by
Original
It's per USDA regulations.

various citrus producing states quarantine from the other citrus producing states to stop the spread of various types of pests found in various regions of the country...even the fruit shipped to other states have to have a federal certificate showing they were properly treated before transit .
