Poke greens are leaves of a wild plant eaten as greens. Up for bid are three clusters of seeds. Be aware that these sometimes spread quite a bit once they've grown.

These appear to be quite green. i know the seeds turn almost black/purple when 'ripe'. Will these seeds germinate?

good question...have won bunches of seeds on listia...some came up, others did not...just got to plant them and find out...as to your concern they appear green, planted some from same bunch of plants I got ones up for bid up myself...now have little plant about foot tall...these are wild plants, in case you are unaware what a poke green plant is...the wind blows and they spread and take root without anyone actually planting them in the ground...if you prefer black/purple seed, then don't bid on this auction...maybe will be some black/purple seed later...I don't know..just gathered seeds for myself and decided to put three clusters up for bid while I had several of them have since planted for myself

I will also mention, for people who are not aware of what a poke weed is, that it has on it black/purple berries that are berries, not seeds...if you are not familiar with harvesting poke weed to eat, it is recommended you research it further online before doing so...as the plant ages, portions of it become poisonous and should not be eaten...as with harvesting mushrooms, you should know what you doing if choose to plant and harvest it
