First I need to know, when you say it is like morning glory, does it take over like morning glory? Second will it grow in Oregon?

It does like to take over, somewhat--but in cooler states, it doesn't take over as much. Yes, it will grow in Oregon. Soak the seeds overnight to give them a "jump-start" & then plant them in soil. They are easy to grow. I live in NorthWest Arkansas & I don't have any issues with plant "take-over". I grow them on a balcony in pots & in 2 flower beds directly in the ground.
