Description
The listing, 50 NICE Stone Beads Soft Green Olivine Color has ended.
Here's a nice little bag of about 50 small (about 5 mm) stone beads with a variagated soft greenish olivine color, shot through with dark brown. These are stone beads, I'm not sure what type but possibly some sort of jasper. Nice lot of a lotta beads, and my only bag of these to give away on Listia!

Please keep an eye on my listings. I won't have any auctions running for a few days, but am returning from vacation next week and will begin listing some NEW beads, including some pearls, millefiore and Swarovski crystals in many colors! Here's the link to bookmark to check on my latest listings: http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!
I'll have to go through all my findings, but I'm afraid if I get rid of too many of them I'll just be regretting it, not that I have much time to work on the beads with all this Listia action!
Here is a link that I found on how to make jump rings: http://www.ehow.com/how_4769608_make-jump-rings.html?ref=Track2&utm_source=ask. It is a lot easier than it may sound. Here are a few very important things to know before you start. First, when comes to the wire you choose for making jump rings the larger the gauge size, the more pliable the wire. You will want a smaller gauge size, in order for your jump rings to keep their shape. Secondly, the dowel that is mentioned in the tutorial can be substituted with a smooth wooden pencil or chopstick. A jeweler's saw can be found at companies, such as, Harbour Freight Tools. The saw blades will say what size gauges are appropriate for them to be used on. When tightening the blade to your saw it should make a slight pinging sound when plucked. In order for your blades to keep their strength you will need a blade conditioner. Repeated use of a blade weakens it. The conditioner keeps the blade from getting dull and brittle. After wrapping the wire around the dowel, you will need a clamp the help keep it in place as you saw. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. This knowledge is invaluable to anyone that does a lot of jewelry-making. It will help keep your costs low. If anyone is confused as to the tools needed for this, I will gladly find illustrations of the proper tools.
