Beautiful piece , I've always had tons of compliments on it. This is a multi-strand necklace with a good sized chunk of smokey Agate as a focal point. I know it is hard to pick up in the pictures but the stone is somewhat translucent and will pick up a hint of whatever color you are wearing underneath making it blend even more. The chain is adjustable roughly 3 inches bringing the total length to near 24 inches (wearable length) the entire necklace is roughly 32 inches, so if you just wanted a longer necklace it would be rarely simple to remove the extra chains.. The chains themselves are a sort of hematite tone, leaning towards the "tarnished silver" look. They are not gold tone in the least. The stone is thick and beautiful without any outside edging, it is just polished raw stone. This is definitely worth looking into, but having a 2 year old now, someone needs to wear this beauty without worrying about little hands.. :) Feel free to ask any questions, I am always happy to answer.
