bid wars before the auction is over is pointless..... watch the item and stalk it to the last minute and place in your bid... it's like Russian Roulette.... accept the prize is better.

I agree, it never fails I will find something I really want and then at the last second someone outbids me. I lost an auction yesterday by 2 seconds....and that person hadnt even bid on the item before that. it is FRUSTRATING!!!! Good luck to everyone is all I can say!!!

I like the excitement of the last minute bidding. Alll the time before hand is like advertising time. You are showcasing off what you have in hopes that the most people will see and watch it. It is a great technique for sales, make people sit and anticipate the actual item... I am getting a degree in Marketing so the lengthy waiting periods only draw a bigger crowd.
