It takes one of two universal USBs, so the charging issue shouldn't be a problem, I've owned a couple of these, they're pretty sturdy, and have a pretty good battery life, not a bad MP3 player at all. Which is why I myself will be bidding on it.

Yes, it should be. It worked when I last used it beautifully, however, lost the charger and it's been sitting in my dresser for some time.

I do not have the charger and it has sat in my dresser drawer for little less than a year. Can't turn it on without a charge.
