Up for auction is this captivating sterling silver ring size 7.5, stamped 925. The large heart cut deep carmine garnet is beautiful. Dozens of brilliant round cut white zircons form a small heart at the top and diamond shapes around the main stone. More white zircons encrust the two side bands. Garnet is the birthstone of January and zircon is that of December.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
