Description

The listing, Video Game System -- Nintendo Classics has ended.

Game system plugs into the TV. The controller is also the game system. It has the classic Nintendo games on it such as Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. There are 2 controllers, and a gun. The secondary controller plugs into the main one. The main controller simply has a power cord, and the yellow and white audio/video plug-ins for your television. It plays on the same input as our DVD player, so I assume that it will for yours as well. We have played it just a few times, and it has been stored for about a year. Plugged it in and played it, still works great. Since purchasing however, we have moved and had a baby, so I have no idea where the instruction manual is. My husband says the game system has to go, so here it is. If you are an 80's fan, you know what kind of fun these games are. The box, lost in a black hole somewhere, had said that it had over 100 games on it, so I took a photo of the first screen of game options, and a few photos of Mario as well. The money that I'm asking for on shipping is for Priority Mail, insurance and tracking. Thanks for looking... and hopefully bidding!!

Just so you know, selling these are illegal and you can be prosecuted by the FBI for it. I know of people who have been held accountable for this pirated software. I would be very careful with this.

If it got to 2500 credits I would go down to $5 on the shipping, to help out the buyer, but I wouldn't go much less because I'll be sending it Priority, insured and tracking and that cost more than $5 so I'll have to make up the difference. Hey, Meerkat, fanned you back.

It can be either. The second controller plugs into a slot on the first. That slot, on the first controller, is also where you plug in the gun instead, in order to play games like Duck Hunt.

Naturally, if you do decide that you aren't comfortable with the purchase, and want your credits returned to you, the system will still be mine and will not be sent to you.

I read the Wikipedia write-up and the events TragicKingdom was referencing happened in 2004-2005. It has no mention of the duped consumers being held accountable and even states that the man selling them had to advertise within the mall that he had been selling non-licensed items. I bought this system 2 years ago at an Electronics Expo at the Holiday Inn Coonvention Center. It was one of those kind of events that is advertised on TV. I also a bought a computer and an area rug at the same time. There was a $5 charge, per person, to get into this event. The item had a box, and the packaging didn't look like the one in the Wikipedia photo.
If you have bid on it, and feel uncomfortable with your bid, then I will tell Listia to refund your credits to you, should you win it. I want the winner of the item to enjoy playing, and not regret using their hard-earned credits for it. If you are still interested in this item, by all means bid on it. I already have it boxed up, ready to ship. Any questions will be answered. Thanks
Although I am not SELLING this system

Additionally, I am not "selling" this item. Listia items are traded for credits.

can you maybe do free shipping if it gets to a certain amount of credits thanks

Sorry, my husband's paycheck was really short this week, I can't do free shipping.

I will take PayPal, Money Order, Personal Check and Cash. If you pay with check, I will not mail your item until I know the check has cleared. Cash, as you know, is a risky thing to mail--as it can get lost. But, if you're willing to send it, I'll definitely accept it.

Thanks for the endorsement. It is fun to play. I just have too much going on to use it (University classes, a husband and a toddler to chase after) so that is why my husband said to do something with it.

Sure, Canada would be no problem. Give me a few days to pack it, and I will take it to the Post Office to see how much it would cost. The auction still has over a week left, so there is plenty of time to discuss it. I will charge exactly what it costs me. Where, generally, in Canada are we talking about?

Hi,
would you be willing to ship this to Canada and if so, how much are we talking?
May 19th, 2011 at 1:20:09 PM PDT by

I would consider a lesser fee, like half of the $8, if the bidding went high enough. But for the benefit of the buyer I want to insure it, track it, and send it Priority Mail. I send out my items the next day, after shipping has been paid.
