Questions & Comments
I wouldn't. But you could consider absorbing a couple dollars of shipping in exchange for fetching higher credits. The lower the "shipping", the higher the "starting bid". But what you have currently is very fair. Where else can you find a Bissell brand vacuum for less than $14? Think about it. This auction is a deal!
I like the way you think!!1 I am going to take this into consideration and see if it makes a difference. Will leave it the same for now I guess and upon a repost make the adjustments. Thanks!!
thanks new here still not sure what I am doing or how it all works. Not sure how the credits work. I mean there are things on here like 3 skeins of yarn going for 2200 credits or more. (really). I felt that if that's the low price then I must be giving stuff away for nothing. I saw one with 5 stitch markers for like 1000 credits really? I thought that was nuts where were the rest of them lol!
LOL. You've got this auction nicely set, though. Ignore that other foolishness. 2200 is almost equivalent to $2. You'll notice some people on here have wild interpretation of whats a fair credit amount. Looks like you're picking up the balance pretty good. I'm still learning myself. That's why I'm watching your auction, since I have two vacuums.
Looks like no one's interested. I just don't want to get rid of it, it sits next to the new one that I got for xmas last year, that has more attachments. I guess your right about the amount of what a credit is worth. I just got bid out on a set of refrigerator magnets that sold for 1310 credits.!!!
Actually people are interested. Listia doesn't give us the numbers on how many page views we've had. The thing is, many on here are hesitant when it comes to shipping costs since the appeal of Listia is everything is "free". But people need to understand shipping heavy items like vacuums require tracking, special packaging (and sometimes insurance) so they should be willing to either bid high OR accept the shipping reality. Still can't find better deals than on here, in my opinion. Unless one takes a risk at their local Goodwill. :) You can always relist or have your friends hunt someone down locally that would be interested in joining the site via your referral link and bidding on it (granted they have enough credits).
I have only used it on carpet as my apt is all carpet except my kitchen and bathroom. I didn't even know it could work on hard floors never tried it. I know you can do upholstery and other things when you add the attachments.
