could you tell me if the beads are plastic or glass?

I *think* they are plastic...but some almost look like gemstones through the package...I can't really tell for sure without opening it up and I don't want to do that for fear some could get lost. I can tell you that they seem to be very nice quality, what ever they are. These kits are put out by Annie's Attic, I believe the company is called. Their products are always very nice quality. I have been receiving the card making kits and paper crafting kits and stamping kits for about a year now and am ALWAYS very happy with what I am able to create with them (even if I don't usually follow THEIR instructions/suggestions...LOL)...
