Capsicum annuum "Peter pepper" (sometimes referred to as the ***** pepper) is an heirloom chili pepper that is best known for its unusual shape.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_pepper#Appearance

Plants grow to about 2 feet
Bloom color; White
90 days

Produces good yields -- 2 ¾" long by ¾" wide peppers. Medium - Hot (heat level 7-8, Scoville heat units 10,000–23,000 ) turns from green to yellow when mature. Sometimes pickled or added to salsa, it's surely a unique garden plant.

This is an heirloom op variety, not a hybrid. So unlike hybrids, saved seeds from isolated plants will come true to type in the next generation.

Plant like any other chili after danger of frost.

These seeds were also properly collected from mature RIPE pepper pods.

P.S. BEWARE OF ROSE SEEDS! Rose seeds are a very popular internet SCAM these days. Don't be fooled! There's a reason why we don't see rose seeds sold in big garden centers. INFO LINK; http://goo.gl/joEMf9

Also beware of home collected seeds from hybrid plants. They're no longer the same variety. Ask questions. Research >reliable< sources. Learn to succeed in your gardening efforts!

Thirdly, a GREEN bell pepper is an UNRIPE bell pepper & isn't likely to provide VIABLE seeds. There are very few varieties that produce bell peppers that ripen to green. Same for GREEN Jalapeno & most other pepper varieties. It only take minutes to check the variety & discover the color of the RIPE pepper.

Apple seeds? Mercy! Don't get me started!
