As the title states, these are absolutely beautiful gold over sterling silver sapphire with diamond accent pierced earrings. They hang approximately 1/2" long. They are mostly gold over sterling, but, the sapphires are set in the middle of a solid sterling silver setting. There is one very tiny diamond chip on each earring just above the sapphires, but, you have to have a magnifying glass to see them. However, if you turn them over to look at the back you will see the little whole that was made for the light to shine through for the diamond to sparkle. I don't know if the sapphires are natural or man made, but, I believe they are natural simply because if they were man made I doubt they would be so dark. If you hold them up to the light you can see the blue as the light shines through them. I'm sorry that I couldn't get a good shot of them with my camera where they could show the light shine on or through them. They are both stamped 925 R. These are so pretty and expensive looking. They could use a cleaning. I've never worn them, but, I did get them second hand, so, I'm pretty sure they have been worn before.
