These punches are great. You can punch anywhere on the paper. Just place and tap around it with a craft hammer or rubber mallet. I get more use from scrap paper using these because you are not restricted to the edges like a traditional punch.

You do not have to have the expensive Sizzix hammer to use these. I use a cheap rubber mallet that I bought at the Dollar store, and it works just fine.

How large is the punch?

I added a pic with a quarter to help show size. If you put the quarter on top of the heart it covers it exactly. I hope that helps. Thanks for helping me make my listing better! :-)
