Pay as you go is different, I didn't mention that, and your right with that. Those can be passed on and they will charge for those due to being pre pay vs post pay. If it's contracted to the account then it is non transferable. Here, our stores for tmobile including the two my family manage do not charge for replacements. Must be different or you have aholes running your local stores pocketing the five bucks for them selves, that's pretty common. Just telling you what it was while I worked for them and how these guys run the stores around here.
It is a great phone, had one till I left it in the car and somebody broke in to steal it. Would like this one.

And its pay as u go and the Sim chip has not been transferred to any other phone its staying with the phone..and I know here in Tampa they just don't give away chips so u must live in a place I have not heard of .....giveing away free Sims for free..for pay as u go

Just letting folks know this is 4g LTE and have four quad core which makes it faster then two .and Sim chip is included so all u have to do is buy minutes and don't have to go through all the activation and haveing to spend more for a Sim Chip
