This is a set of Korean Genre Picture Coasters. These was brought back from Korean and never was used still has original box. Each coaster has a different scene. Genre painting of Woowon (Born in Chungjoo Choong-Puk-Do in 1940). Painter Woowon YEON, SEE HEE is one of the representative Painter for genre painting in korea and in his works display a unique world with flashing humor and nostalgia and jocularity and witticism. This is a great auction! Not trying to ask a silly question, but are the coasters made of something waterproof? Would hate to ruin the beautiful design...

I have been looking and I can not find out anything about these coasters, maybe because they are made in Korea but they do have a cork back. I'm sorry I couldn't find out for you. I can give you the web site that's on the box it's www.saechen.com maybe I didn't know what I was looking for but I couldn't find anything. Sorry!!!
