hi it has a light that atracks them and then a vacuum that succks them down into this basket type thing that they cant get out of and then the air dries them up and you just take it out and empty it .thanks

OMG I NEED this! We have a lake in our backyard which makes our house look like a haunted house all summer with the sheer amount of spiders on your walls, awnings, and porch ceiling. Pizza delivery persons refuse to walk onto the porch from June - Sept. Well, come fall, those spiders try their best to survive the cooler months by coming into the house. They are dangerous to our pets, too (they're recluse spiders). So if this thing works on spiders, I am totally bidding! Fanned you, too!

I have one of these - have used it for years & it's great! Works on all kinds of bugs, not just mosquitoes (we used it to get rid of flies once).
