Description
The listing, Playboy Casino $25 VINTAGE POKER CHIP (Atlantic City NJ, Circa 1980) has ended.
The chip is in great condition, considering this was once in regular circulation only 30 years ago. The Playboy Casino in Atlantic City New Jersey, changed its name in 1984 to Atlantis Hotel and Casino. That's when these chips were discontinued. Since then these have become rare and highly collectible.
This will be sent to the winner snapped in a plastic collectible coin/chip case.
I purchased this in Las Vegas several years ago, and since then had been used as a card protector for poker. So the case has some very minor wear. I have many card protectors and I'm not in need of this anymore.
Questions & Comments
"I collect spores, mold, fungus and poker chips." ;)
Thanks, I think so too. I haven't had use for this in a while so I know someone wants it more than me. I only collect chips of Casinos I've played at, new or old. I've never been to Atlantic City, so this is the "black sheep" in my chip collection. Pretty much only got it cause it looked cool, and I needed a card protector at the time. It was when I made my attempt in a WSOP event back in 2010. I got pretty far in it, Montel Williams was in the table next to mine lol!
Well, they say that when someone gives you a card protector that's when it gets lucky mojo. And technically, according to Listia, we are giving this away for free. Trading items, using Listia virtual credits as a mediator. So this should be coming with some poker luck :-)
