The listing, Nikon N2000 35mm Film SLR Camera with 35-75mm Macro Zoom Lens has ended.

I won this Camera the other day and when I got it I realized the lens that I wanted the most did not fit my current camera. So I am relisting with the same pictures that were used when I won the camera.

This listing is for a used Nikon N2000 35mm Film camera with a Nikon AiS Mount Five Star Multicoated Macro Zoom f3.5-4.5 35-70mm zoom lens, and a camera strap, .

The camera and lens are in beautiful mechanical and cosmetic conditon. The camera is very easy to use in manual mode, and can also be used in auto exposure mode; the lens is very useful in that it has coverage from 35mm (wide angle for group shots and landscapes) to 75mm (short telephoto for portraits).

Shutter fires at all speeds.

Film compartment and viewfinder are clean

Glass has no scratches. Focus turns smoothly and zooms smoothly Includes front cap and 55mm clear protective filter.

This is a classic 35mm SLR from the days when Pentax, Nikon, Olympus and Canon made all-metal cameras that were built like tanks and built to last a lifetime - film photography instructors have used them for black and white photography classes for decades and still recommend them. They are durable workhorses, and a joy to shoot with. Film is still sold at many stores like Walmart, Walgreens and CVS etc and most places still have developing labs.

Is it an easy camera for beginners to use?

It is a camera that is used by many high school and college students to learn with. As for how easy it is to use that depends on what the person knows about taking the pictures. I wish I could just say yes but I can not make a judgement if a camera will be easy or hard for any one person to use. Sorry.

I am almost embarrassed to say this but I took the lens and my current camera to a friend and he showed me that it does fit on my camera. However as I have listed this camera I will stand by my listing and ship. My current camera is a D5000 Nikon Digital and it does fit.

I found that I was doing something wrong and a friend showed me that it will fit on my camera but due to the fact I have already listed it then I will stand by my auction and let the camera go. I have learned a lesson not to jump and list without taking the time to ask my friend who is a professional. My current camera is a Nikon D5000. Hope that helps clear things up, sorry for any confusion.

Does it come with batteries or something? And aren't their cords to hook if up to computer ?

It is a film camera and does not connect to a computer. You take the pictures and take the film to Walgreens or Walmart to have developed.

Not that I can tell. I checked it out and everything seems to work fine. The reason I am listing it is I had thought the lens would fit on the camera I have but I was wrong.
