No, absolutely not. Lol NSA company has been been around for some time. Although I and most refer to it as a card, it's actually memorabilia slabbed and encased. :)
Actually my Shoeless Joe signature card is the only of my sports memorabilia items I've sold in 23 years.
I've googled NSA forums, there are as many naysayers as supporters. I've never tried selling either of these swatch cards. They cost the least, therefore they are the first listed.
If one does not receive endorsement from a player, a card cannot be made. The only way to receive an endorsement is to pay the player.
For a small company to pay a player like MJ or TW, they will be hit big with pay-in, in addition to production. Look at the cost of a photocopied picture of any sports celebrity signature. People are paying bucks all day for these.
Many people have forged autographs sold for a hundred or more. I advertised this card for all it states in the encasements. No one knows for sure if the swatches came from the celebrities body, except the person that collected the jersey. NSA could be a two man show doing all the collection themselves.
I purchased as novelty, no authentication, with nothing else in mind. I'm not looking to sell any of the items I've advertised, only trade.
I'm not requesting anyone's first born, obviously. "This is a trade, not a purchase, it's a trade."
If anyone does not want the trade, then they shouldn't bid. If a winning bidder isn't satisfied, or feels the item is unreal, still I'm more than happy to return their possibly $7 in points.
Whether $7 or $5000, I've always kept my word. I'm retired Army, and have never had a reprimand, or any other negative report. The honor and respect didn't come by screwing over people.
Don't sweat the negative comment. I have 3 Martin brodeur NSA cards. 1 with red, 1 with white, and 1 with a piece of Olympic jersey. Beautiful cards and I enjoy them as much as my other Marty memorabilia cards.
Thank you for your support. I've placed other signed and limited number cards for auction. :) I have at least 70,000 cards remaining , gave away boxes. 30-40,000 cards picked up by 4 people, within the hour of listing on Craigslist at 3 a.m. I didn't think anyone would be up at that hour. I just became frustrated with needing to purchase more steel shelving. Guess I should stop purchasing, huh?
NSA cards are worth less than 10% of what Upper Deck game used cards are! They are NOT a trusted company. No legit sport card dealers near me will touch any of their products!!
Just like an uncertified signature, one must hope they're not forged. Your "legit" shops will not accept a signed card either. At minimum, owner must personally know the submitor, and/or must be able to trace it's path. Even then the card will be sent for certification.
Additionally, the only reason I'm not blocking your comment...I don't care!!
