My grandfather had a whiskey shire filled with either really expensive crystal, old vintages (pre-prohibition) and various other highly collective iteams. After passing we made a fortune off the collection but we kept his favorite whiskey piece (a barrel he to distill him self during a visit to their first plant - post prohibition) then shared it with the rest of the family. When the whiskey was gone we removed the tap after hearing a rattle in the mini-keg we thought it would be beech wood but instead we found this coin. We gently cleaned with mild dish soap so as to preserve the patina. We don't know anything else about it and nobody else has ever seen one or could estimate its value but estimated the age at around 50+ years. Personally I think its not that old. But its super cool and well preserved.
