Up for bid is a set of 4 vintage collectible refrigerator magnets ... (giraffes, hot dog/mustard/cloth napkin, letter "L", and gingerbread house). My favorite is the hot dog! These rather unique magnets came from my mom's kitchen, amongst her large collection of rather unique and quirky items she seemed to collect.

My mom is now in an assisted living facility near me, and will no longer be able to use these. Since I am in charge of, and storing her belongings from her apartment, I fought with my oldest adult brother over my decision to find new homes for our mom's un-needed possessions rather than discarding them (his ideal choice).

I'd much prefer to find new homes for these items - someone who could use them, rather than adding more to an already overflowing landfill somewhere. I like to think I made the right decision. I DID make the right decision!!!
