Have a wonderful 13 star, flag cancel with three postmarks!

Card was manufactured from E. W. Bailey & Co., Montpelier, VT.(a corn and oats "provender")A provender is an animal fodder, (fodder: any agricultural foodstuff used specifically to feed domesticated livestock, such as cattle, goats, sheep, horses, chickens and pigs.)

Postmark 1903 May 11 6 - PM VT Montpelier and the other two postmarks are dated the next day, the 12th of May! Great for the postcard collector, or flag cancels, agriculture, farming, producing, postmarks, businesses no longer producing, etc.

Backside is interesting read, corn (kiln dried), clipped white oats, brown middlings (bulk goods of medium grade, especially flour of medium fineness), mixed feed, red dog (not sure what that is), Hunter's Brand (extra course) price list typed and at the very bottom, Yours truly, E. W. BAILEY & CO.
