Description

The listing, 17 Hitchcock Ultraviolet HDX films vudu uv account has ended.

**This auction is for an ultraviolet account with 17 HDX Hitchcock films. There are NO ultraviolet codes in this auction** Once the auction is over, I will message the winner an email address and password that will work for vudu (vudu.com), ultraviolet (uvvu.com) and an email (gmail.com) that everything is linked to. They will all belong to the winner. I would recommend changing the password to each account and merging the UV account with your current UV account if you have one. I'm not sure what is with the grey box in the screenshot pictures. I didn't include pictures of all the movies just because it would take a while.

Here are the movies included:

1. North by Northwest 1959
2. Rear Window 1954
3. Psycho 1960
4. Vertigo 1958
5. The Birds 1963
6. Strangers on a Train 1951
7. Dial M for Murder 1954
8. Rope 1948
9. Saboteur 1942
10. Shadow of Doubt 1943
11. The Trouble with Harry 1955
12. Marnie 1964
13. Torn Curtain 1966
14. Topaz 1969
15. Frenzy 1972
16. Family Plot 1976
17. The Man Who Knew Too Much 1956

**All movies are HDX**

I would like to thank kennethedwards796 for inspiring this with his ultraviolet classics bash.

**This auction is for digital movies. No discs is included**
Don't be afraid to ask if you are unsure about Ultraviolet/UV/Vudu/Flixster/Target Ticket/CinemaNow, but PLEASE understand what ultraviolet is and how it works before bidding. Since this is a digital item, once the info has been messaged there are no refunds. I will email through Listia as soon as I can once the auction has ended. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Happy bidding!

Has anyone seen the movie they did about Hitchcock?

Anyone who is a Hitchcock fan, it's worth a watch. Will say it's good not great but it's interesting. Although who knows which parts are real and which ones were added to keep the movie moving. Wish I could have included it in this auction but didn't have copy sitting around.

Great auction! own all his movies, including silent ones on tape. Even then you could already appreciate his technique. Is it hard to link an uv account? tx
Jul 15th, 2014 at 5:31:54 AM PDT by
Original
It's pretty easy to link uv accounts. You have to have have at least 1 of the 6 uv users open in your main uv account. Then while logged into your main up account, in the settings there is a place to "merge accounts." You'd enter enter the email and password for this account and click several things saying "yes link accounts," "I understand the merge can't be undone, " things like that. Once you get through all those clicks, the accounts are linked and all these movies will show up in your uv account. Once that has happened you can actually tell it to remove this user from the account and open the user spot back up. Sorry if that's confusing. I'll be including instructions instructions link to the winner

I think you are right on Ray Allen(One of my favorite shooters ever) and Mike Miller will probably end up there too. I hope he does.

I didn't really like Ray Allen but that was purely from the Cavs stumbling every time they met the Celtics, also why I didn't like Kevin Garnet. That being said I would have been thrilled to have them on my team. So I guess is was jealousy. Right now I'd be happy to take the future Hall of Famer, even if he is well past his prime now. Still has a great shot

Oh my boyfriend and I love the ME TV station! Even my eight and five year old daughters love it. My oldest one would watch the Beverly Hillbillies every morning before she got on the bus did school. My youngest would watch that plus I Love Lucy and Leave It to Beaver in the mornings to. Then throughout the day it has other older classics like Perry Mason, Ironside, Daniel Boone and even Gilligan`s Island in the evening! Its good to know my kids still enjoy the classic shows from when I grew up!!

You mean when all is transfered you can remove the user and get back all 6 free spots? Thanks
Jul 15th, 2014 at 11:11:02 AM PDT by
Original
Each uv account can have up to 6 users linked to it. You only need 1 open spot to do this and afterwards you can remove the user and the spot will open back up. It actually only needs to be linked for a few minutes and all the movies should show up in your uv/linked vudu account

I loved the Alfred Hitchcock hour. I remember when they had it on in the eighty's and my mom said we needed to watch the originals. They were and still are great.

He was portrayed as a sexual predator? WTH I don't remember hearing he was a sexual predator.
Jul 13th, 2014 at 12:50:21 PM PDT by

I remember hearing many of the leading ladies had to sleep with him to get the parts. Guessing that's what it's referring to
Jul 13th, 2014 at 12:52:22 PM PDT by

The reason why "The Girl" (HBO Hitchcock biopic) wasn't as well received because of the portrayal of Hitchcock as a sexual predator.

I am not a love fan either but he would be a good fit. I listen to sports radio all the time I spent about an hour and a half driving this morning and or course was in a meeting when the news came in. After the announcement the meeting turned into sports. I think the only reason lebron left in the first place was to prove he could win with the right pieces around him. So now if they don't win it's not his fault.

Think you're right on why he left. Granted he also thought the big 3 would run through the league every year. It ended up being rougher than he thought it would be. It was something they had set up together years before they actually all went to Miami. When he was here the first time, there was basically nothing around him. Now that he'll have a long term contract, players will be willing to join. Besides Kevin Love wanting to come here I keep hearing Ray Allen and Mike Miller will be joining. Will be an interesting week

I understand you hating the way he left but you guys will be legit again and who knows love sounds like he might be on board. Hope you guys can keep wiggins too.

I'm not a huge Kevin Love fan, think his numbers are inflated by being on a terrible team but if they trade for him I'd be thrilled. I hope they can keep Wiggins in doing it. Don't know much about college basketball but since I'm in a vehicle all day I listen to a lot of sports talk. Wiggins was the guy I wanted based on everything I've heard. Either him or Dion Waiters would likely be involved in the trade and Waiters is someone LeBron likes. I'm sure you can guess who that leaves to be traded

They city is going nuts. I was actually in a meeting when the news came in. Luckily my boss is also a huge sports fan so he had webpages open and kept refreshing them. I hate the way he left us but so glad to see the best player in the world come back. I'm based a few minutes from his house for work. The streets were a mess trying to leave

What a great concept! I'll be watching this one! and @kennethedwards796 there were 2 movies on Hitchcock, the one with Hopkins and the other with Toby Jones (it was on HBO).
