From the large estate lot of Victorian buttons, this is a string of larger size brass buttons - I counted 35. These are all roughly the same size, about 13 or 14mm. Some appear to have been lacquered or "Japanned" at some point, and a few need cleaning of some rust. These are not shanked, rather each has a hole in the center with a small metal bar dividing it, almost like a slider. Each is slightly different.Lovely collection.
