The listing, Vintage/antique sweater clips in sterling silver has ended.

Pair of sterling silver sweater clips of unknown age. I got them from an old estate, and estimate they must be at least thirty years old, and probably far older. They are a shield shape, stamped with the George K Webster Company's unique hallmark, a feathered arrow through a WC.

I think it's to clip the two sides of a cardigan together, a stylish alternative to just buttoning it. It's not something often used anymore, I think.
