This folks is a circa 1949 Boy Scouts Bobcat pin. I know this because I did a little researching to find out about my brothers old pin. Number one, he doesn't want it any more and number two this pin was given out to the Boy Scouts as an initial pin when they first joined and had to be worn on civilian clothes. At that time it was the "Bob Cat" pin. Somewhere between 1948-1950 it was changed to the pin you see here where it was the Bobcat pin with the Boy Scout symbol underneath it. It's neat!
