Here's another interesting item: The 1992 series of Vampires Throughout History. This 50 card tri-color set (black & white with red trim) was released in 1992 by Acid Rain Studios. Although he is not credited, the images are clean line illustrations by Mark Paniccia*** (See note below) He actually signed these and limited 175 of 1500 copies. Some of the cards are filler, including one with nothing but a stake on it, another with nothing but a silver bullet on it, and yet another with nothing but NOTHING on it! The blank card is of "The Horla"-- a psychic vampire. Get it? Invisible!? (Me neither.) However, the other cards are much more interesting to look at and read. Whoever put this set together sure loved vampires! Oddly enough, there are no numbers or checklists included in the set. The only way to make sure you have all 50 is to count. Get it? The Count?!

The WWW is a wonderful thing, with a little research I found the artist who signed it, his name Mark Paniccia. Sorry I can not certificate the authenticity. but I have included a picture of another signed comic from him the signatures are the same. I personally bought this at a Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors convention. The box is slightly beat up and a small piece of scotch tape holds the bottom in place. The Cards Are all there and they are in MINT condition. I have included pics of them but I can include more if you'd like.
