For the First time ever I am auctioning off a 3D printed bracelet. This bracelet is not like a normal bracelet, it is the future of design and manufacturing. So explain what 3D printing is. Recently I purchased a Makerbot printer, what it does is feed 1.75 mm extruded plastic (I uploaded a picture of the two roles) it's a string of special plastic that the printer feeds into a hot tip, melting the plastic to almost a liquid state at 240degree Celsius (464degree Fahrenheit!!). This melted plastic then get put down in a specific order on the blue platform, i.e. bracelet. The printer prints at 3 grades fine, medium, and low. The bracelet I'm auctioning is printed under Fine. Another cool feature is the type of plastic that is used. Most plastics we handle in life are ABS plastics, such as a plastic bag or water bottle. They are derived from petroleum, so they use precious oil, and they are not biodegradable. My printer used PLA plastic derived from post consumer plastics and corn starches, meaning it is biodegradable, safer for human use, only down side is it is not as strong as ABS but it is lighter.

The bracelet, it is a faceted geometric style bracelet. I have two colors at the moment, bright red and a silver gray. The bracelets will fit a medium sized wrist/ hand, wrist about 2.5 inches, but if your wrist is bigger or greatly smaller I can custom print it to fit. This bracelet is really light, it is pretty much hollow on the inside but it is very strong.

So winner gets one bracelet of their choice, unless biding goes above 10,000 in which case winner will get two of their choice, I'm fine with you wanting two of the same color as well. Look for future auctions in which I will offer customizable prints, where you can send me your ideas or name to put on things.
