this is one of those things that you pick up because you know there are a lot of cat lovers out there aand it's cute and then you find out later it's "something!"i noticed it was signed on the back and so goggled the jj.it turned out to be made by the jonette jewelry company incorporated in 1944 and actually could be dated by the hallmark on the back..this one was made in the late 70's early 80's denoted by the use of the italicized sans serif font..the pins are so popular that there is actually a a web site called jj pin collectors club.that being said the cat itself is a textured matt goldtone on an ornate shelf edge toying with a tiny mouse in its paw.the pin has the safety "c" clasp closure.all listia rules apply.
