The listing, Small Butterfly Pendant - Shell with gold tone trim has ended.

Tiny and sweet! This tiny butterfly is a pendant. It is made out of some kind of shell and attached to a gold tone base. It has a loop in the back for a chain BUT A CHAIN is NOT included.

Look close. There is tiny chip along the edge of the wing. ... barely visible but I can feel it with my fingernail. See where pen tip is pointing. I hope the photo shows it. Does not seem to distract from its cuteness.

This piece is very old, I would say dates back to the 50s or 60s.

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that to be Mother-Of-Pearl. What a little beauty. and you're right, it's definitely a Vintage piece. someone needs to give that a good home and adore it. I wish I collected things like that.
