The listing, Genuine Dansk teakwood steak knives - MINT condition has ended.

This is a beautiful set of six vintage Dansk "Fjord" steak knives. Made of fine quality stainless steel, the handles are set end-to-end through genuine teakwood.

Purchased ca. 1965. Made in Germany, each is 8 3/8" long. They are in good used condition. [They are NOT dishwasher safe.]

They don't look like they have a serated edge. How would they cut meat?

Hi, Susan. They do not have serrated edges, that's right. While they are quite sharp, the smooth edge design is so they can be sharpened, either professionally or with a home sharpening stick.

These are gorgeous! I love teak...Susan266: these knives are so sharp that they don't have to be serrated to cut meat and will last a lifetime
