The listing, Elegant Antique Gold Mesh Purse with Coins has ended.

I found this treasure at an estate sale just a couple of weeks ago! I'm leaving it as I found it and one bid gets it all! This is a BEAUTIFUL old gold-colored mesh coin purse with 6 old coins in it! This dainty mesh purse is in good working condition, but has a small area at one of the hinges where the mesh has come apart from the frame. See 3rd photo. I believe this could be repaired with some thin wire and a little patience. Otherwise, it is very presentable and would be a prize in any collection. The coins all look old and show some wear. You have a highly collectible change purse called glomesh. Do a little research on the company it's a great story. The coins look to be highly collectible too! That is another plus! Very nice auction!

I just looked up glomesh.is there a tag inside?the bio said it could be from 3 different co.,including the one i had hoped made it,which is whiting and davis.the australian glomesh was made 60 thru 80's.it's an interesting history.good luck with the auction.

I looked and didn't see any sign of a tag. I also looked for any markings and didn't find anything. I did notice the lining appears to be made of silk or something shiny like silk.
