work well from select list of restaurants in your area
most have a min purchase like $50 CERT MIGHT HAVE A MIN PURCHASE OF $75 OR $100 BUT THAT PRETTY EASY TO DO at most 4 or 5 star restaurants

Is this worth 50$? I'm registered and not really sure how these work. If it's 50$ to add to a account then count me in! Lol this would be perfect for my mother in law.. I will look again and hopefully try to understand how they work :)

Sad to say I'm NO EXPERT with these because of limited availability in my area ~ Doesn't mean $50 off the ticket @ restaurant! We used twice & husband actually did the check out ~ way I understand is after login, print certificate from restaurant U select (this amount deducted from gift card & is usually LESS THAN Amount deducted from restaurant ticket ~ ie $10 certificate may only cost $4 ~ then go to restaurant and amount of certificate printed ($10 example) is what's deducted from overall bill! Guess in the larger urban areas, its much better deal because of dinner theater cost$, etc. SORRY ~ NO EXPERT ~ that why I have too many & Want 2 share!

The way shepear described it is you are paying by credit card for the certificates you buy. When redeeming a restaurant.com gift card, its all face value. You do not get the"discount" on the certificates you purchase. You redeem $10 off the card for a $10 certificate. It still is a really good deal regardless, as you can eat out quite often on a budget.
