Ok All, I'm not an expert in this type of Jewelry so You decide for Yourselves please. All I can do is tell You what I see and what I know.
it is "GOLD" I think it's real and a magnet will not stick to any parts except the very bottom of the tassels.
It is NOT stamped any place I can see but on the back of the Box it is stamped," Pat Pending".
The total length is 34" long but the Tassels slide through the box to make shorter or longer, the front of the box has a dome and the detail work that's in this piece is unreal, inside the Dome are dried flowers and they are amazing.
This Golden Oldie was given to My Hubby's Yatta, {Grandmother} on the Reservation years ago for a trade on a Squash Blossom and Cuff to match. We tried to get the exact year but the age We came up with is the best We can do.
Was funny as My Hubby said the Woman spoke no Navajo nor English as She was German so there was very limited conversation but somehow They Both seemed to understand what They wanted.
Yatta pushed aside the Turquoise Squash Blossom and the Petti Point Cuff and pulled this necklace towards her, The Woman smiled, Yatta smiled and the deal was done.
This was around the mid 40's when this took place.
ok now the Necklace, measures 34" long and as I said it can be adjusted as the Tassels are sliders, the Dome is 1-1/2" long by almost 1" wide. Very delicate piece.
