I think I asked this before on your other sign auction but if I did, I can't remember the answer. How do you accept payment for the shipping? Also, could you please explain how you calculate shipping? I would thing this would fit in a padded envelope mailer and shouldn't cost more than $3 or $4 with DC OR $4.75 with the flat rate 81/2x11 letter mailer the USPS has. Just curious, but more curious about payment methods you accept. My mom would love this and I would frame it up so it looked really nice on her wall! Thanks!

This is our last sign, so you won't get another chance. We could possibly fit it into a Priority Flat Rate Legal Size, but if it won't shut with out tape, it cant go. There are also weight limits, and this sign is made of steel. We prefer that you send a money order. No checks. We can take PayPal, but then again we are incurring an expense that we aren't able to eat to give away our cherished possessions. It just isn't cheap mailing things and we have covered too many items out of our pocket that is not right or fair to us.

Oops, sorry, I meant to put the 11x14 mailer, not the smaller one. :o)

I think that I answered this, but if you still have questions, let us know. We will have a few more Beatles items, but not any signs or posters.

can u do better on shipping? There's no way this costs that much to mail. It would easy fit in a padded envelope with a fragile sticker and arrive safely. I'd love to bid, I collect Beatles stuff for my kids, but your shipping is way too high

This sign is made of steel, so it is heavy. Furthermore, if we don't have fees to pay for your padded envelope, then what? I'm sorry that you feel that way, but its just not free to mail merchandise. Sorry.

Yep, you did! I would still prefer paypal so I know you got it and I had a receipt for the transaction, though. I wouldn't mind paying the extra 20 cents that paypal charges. I know what you mean, too, I always offer free shipping and have to schedule the auctions around my unemployment checks because it can get pricey sending things out. Also, yes, I want this sign, but please let me know if/when you list anymore Beatles stuff. My mom and I both love them but she is an absolute nut when it comes to them! lol! Thanks!

Sure will! My husband and share the passion fir the Beatles, and were both huge collectors. He had a very bad accident and brain surgery, that left him disabled. I too am disabled, only mine is physical and his is cognitive. We lost our house because we had no income for a year, so we are having to part with everything because we can't afford to maintain 2 huge storages, as well as my daughter's garage. We have sold a lot of special and unique Beatles memorabilia. We still have 1 decent sized box. We have a few things listed on eBay. I know this is the last sign, and we recently sold our last poster, but lots of books, vintage magazines, pictures, a puzzle, pins, a key chain from Liverpool, lunch boxes, VHS movies, and more. You and your Mom sound like my daughter and I. I taught her to pick out every Beatles and Beach Boys song, and know the difference. I will try to let you know when we list something, but having over 100 items listed here and an eBay store, it's hard to remember who I've talked to. We hope that you will Fan us (Joe also has a separate account, with different items. I think his user name is Joseph96).

I already fanned you lol! But I didn't know your husband had a different ID selling Beatles so TY for the heads up - I'll be fanning him in a min. I'm so sorry all of that happened to you! I had a much less severe scenario last year - I fell in a market broke my rib & sprained my back in 3 places (entire back) & my job was very physically demanding so I had to go on temp disability. Well, my job didn't feel like waiting for my rib to heal so they replaced me - THEN lied to unemployment saying I quit so they froze my benefits pending a hearing. it took me 6 mos (of zero income) and a $2000 lawyer fee to het my benefits back. Fortunately, I didn't lose a house like you (so sorry about that), but I did default on every bill where the creditor couldn't or wouldnt work with me. It's amazing we all get thru each day with smiles on our faces isn't it? I will keep u & your hubby in my prayers & keep watching your profile for more Beatles. I sincerely hope things get better for your family in the coming months. :0)

yes, life is loaded with misfortunes and oddities. I cab relate to your scenario.I fell in a Starbuck's parking lot, leaving me in a state constant pain and inability to physically function. That was before Joe's king stay in the hospital and months of me having to administer round the clock IV treatments for several more months. Because of the cognitive defuciets it left him, we were truly blessed with his getting approved for SSD within only a matter of months (unheard if that quick). Since I was the only one to care for him, it seriously magnified the spinal and degenerative disc disease they deducted I suffered from, which was brought to an extreme when I fell. I was denied SSD until I got a lawyer, I was finally approved a few weeks ago. It is a huge adjustment living in a very old RV, without even the luxury of running water, but we are very grateful for the blessings that we have been given! I know that employers have all the control, and don't support their employees (been there too, layer off 6 times, with a masters degree). I'm sorry that that happened to you!

Ok how about this. The post office has FREE bubble mailers that are 9 x 12.5. They are flat rate envelopes. Can you send it in there? Then it's 4.95
