The listing, PLAYSTATION 3 has ended.

This is a 80 Gig PLAYSTATION 3 that had gave me the yellow light of death but can be sent to SONY and fixed for around $150.00 or a little less. I checked because I was going to have it fixed but my wife bought me a new one. Getting this fixed would be a a good deal though because a new one costs about $299.00 without tax. This will also come with the power cord and TV hook up cables and instruction manuals plus it will come in the original box.Depending on how high the bid goes I may do free shipping. I have been known to change my mind....LOL Everybody has their price I guess!!!!

Here's the KEWL thing! Sony is actually purchasing ALL of the 'FAT BOY' models, broken or not. SO, if you send them the broken PS3 and $99, they will give you a new model 120 GB! Awesome deal! It is called yellow light of death yes it really does happen however it can be fixed VERY VERY easily and yes sony overcharges for this service. basically there is a thermal paste between the CPU and Heat sinks and since it's not very good paste dust and heat destroy it over time. All you have to do to fix it yourself is open it up and apply new and hopefully better paste to the CPU. If you need directions look up "PS3 Reflow" on google or youtube for step by step instructions

LOL....Not very up to date on the names of the problems with these game systems....My son said yellow LIGHT of death for PS3. Well being that it is so big and heavy I don't want to do free shipping BUT I did say that if the credits are high enough I would consider.
