The listing, Bonfire salvia 15+ seeds has ended.
I added these brightly blossoming plants to my yard last year. I enjoy them in groups to really show off their color.
They attract hummingbird, and butterflies.
The seeds germinate in about 2 weeks.
Mine started blooming in about 90 days. They bloom all the way up to frost.
They grow about 18"
I sowed them on top of ground, and covered them with about 1/8" of fresh soil. From what I read about them the light helps the germination process.
They like the sun but will grow in a partially shaded area. (I transplanted the ones I got last spring while they were in bud, and they still flowered in the areas that were partially shaded.)
