Are they supposed to tone your legs or something when you walk in them? Why are they called shape up sandals?

They do tone your legs and work more calories when using. I have 3 pair of the shape up tennis shoes also that i love. I just don't have the opportunity to wear scandals much. Too wet in Oregon for leather open toed shoes. lolshoes
