Description

The listing, Craft Sewing Art BIG destash-per-comment! has ended.

For EACH COMMENT left describing how YOU might put items from this BIG de-stash box to good use, I will describe and add ANOTHER item! ("Fanned ya" doesn't count!) My kids are grown, I have moved my studio to a better location and while unpacking it has become obvious that I'll really never get to use everything!

Although I could never bear to see good things thrown away, with Listia, i can certainly see to it that these things get a good home instead! The 1st to bid, 10th to bid and the1st Runner-up will all get a small package with free shipping when the auction ends as well!

Some of the free things in this box already.....

Belting, Roping & Sequin Appliques
Buttons & Beads& Lace
Elastic, Velcro & Collars
Vintage (but useful) Supplies
Tulle and Fabric Yardage
Needlework (unfinished kits)
Craft Magazines & catalogs
Stickers & Scrapbooking
Wood Crafting & Floral items
Costume Jewelry

And a WHOLE lot more!! (sorry, cutting mat NOT included!)

*Please note that this listing contains vintage and/or used items that may show wear. This is to be expected.
I am allergic to dust, smoke and mold so these items should be fairly free of that kinda stuff!
If you desire insurance, tracking, etc... YOU will have to send extra carefully concealed cash or postal money order to cover it! (sorry, no pay pal yet!) I will pay half the shipping, no matter how big it gets!
I'm kinda busy, so I will catch up to the comments when I can, at least every night when things quiet down!

Requests will be considered! Good Luck!

I have been making items for babies and kids such as bibs, changing pads, diaper bags and baby clothes. Also make household decorative items and embellish things from thrift stores like lampshades, etc. This sounds like its full of things I could use!

With the buttons, I would glue them together and make a flower design with felt backing and use it as the centerpiece for a beaded necklace I've made or a hair clip (yes, I like hair clips hehe).

I absolutely LOVE this! SOO cool! And I love that after 2X years, I still learn something new every day (I had to look up de-stash box).

If I were to win this, I would use the adorable green sequenced flower thingy & make a clip that could go onto a headband or be worn alone.

thisisme... I'm having a lot of fun, too! I wish i could get a sample of everyone's handiwork to feature in my shoppe! I hope we re-auction and share the stuff winners cannot use, also! Not sure about the evil, dead doll thing... ;-/ but I like everyone's ideas! I have made a t-shirt quilt, they all turn out different. Just make sure you remember that t-shirt material stretches.... that's where I ran into problems. I would all of this stuff for many different crafts I do around the house and at church. We get together to make awesome crafts and teach the 5th & 6th grade girls how to make things using their imaginations!!!!

You are brave soonerslvr2002, 2nd & 3rd grade is about my tolerance level, but then, when i subbed (whew) it was for HS re-entry! (a tough crowd) I like the raw-edge look that's so popular right now, and find that hand-basting the t-shirt parts an inch from the raw edge right onto an old quilt, overlapping them at random, keeps the finished shape, looks authentic/rustic, and can be stitched to another new blanket, flannel sheet or whatever for the backing. I use the waistbands from bluejeans for the binding... the hardest part, but well worth the end product in memories! Church groups, summer crafts... Scavenger Hunts! Instructions and sample going in the box for permanent entertainment; a puzzle bottle. Save smooth clear plastic shampoo bottles or peanut butter jars...find objects, seal them in. Print answers on the lid. I saw these on tables in a restaurant!!! FUN

(FYI: My cutting mats are old and used rejects from a quilting class with the grids worn off in places, the backs with no lines are kinda ok. Good surface for gluing crafts or doing jigsaw puzzles.)
